Each 48 Inch Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Stick has a 20mm Liquid Compass inlaid in the top, a Leather Hand Strap and replaceable Heavy Rubber Tip on the bottom. DARK BAMBOO WOOD WALKING STICK

Our Handcrafted Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Stick is 48 inches long (we can cut it larger or smaller at no extra charge) and has a 20mm (13/16") Liquid Compass inlaid in the top, a Leather Hand Strap and a replaceable Rubber Tip on the bottom (extra tips available). The liquid compass is of good quality and comes in handy if you want to check your direction or take a simple bearing.

The exterior of our Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Stick has a very unique Tortoise Shell like finish developed by us over our many years of working with bamboo wood. No two of our bamboo walking sticks are alike. We protect our Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Stick with a coat of water proof Poly.

It requires some 18 different steps to go from raw bamboo pole to finished Dark Bamboo Walking Stick. Making a Walking Stick Flute adds many more steps to the process.

I enjoy hiking myself, especially off trail. It's a great chance to get my dog Dixie, our Carolina Dog, out for a good 3 or 4 hour run around. We are fortunate to live at the base of Monument Mountain. The photo at the top of this page was taken from the top of it. The small white square at the extreme left side of the photo and about a third of the way up is our place.

Over my many years of hiking, my bamboo walking stick has proven to be invaluable to me. I never go hiking without it. It is especially useful helping me keep my balance when traversing very rugged and steep terrain. The Bamboo Walking Stick also comes in handy for poking around in the under brush. I like the way the bamboo wood feels in my hand. Actually I've been using one of our Camera Monopod Walking Sticks for the past few years so I can take self photos. Our Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Stick Flute is exactly the same as the Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Stick described above but also includes a Six Hole Transverse Flute (side blown like a Concert Flute) located in the middle of the bamboo wood walking stick for balance. Just turn the bamboo walking stick sideways and start singing with the birds. The sound is incredible! Very mellow and Well Tuned!

Each Dark Bamboo Walking Stick Flute is Individually Concert Tune to a Major Scale (G) and they play a range of up to 2 octaves. These Bamboo Walking Stick Flutes are well tuned. You can have great fun with one of our Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Stick Flutes just playing it in a quiet meadow or jamming along with other instruments around the old campfire.
