Walking Canes are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and usually arrive within 3 to 4 business days (within the continental U.S.). Canes shipped outside the continental U.S. will require extra postage. If extra charges apply to your order you will be notified by email, before shipping, of the extra charges.

DESCRIPTION OF OUR WOOD WALKING CANE

Light yet very strong our Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Cane is intended for use by those who rely on a cane for support when walking. We offer our Wood Walking Cane in two styles, Walking Cane or Walking Cane Flute.

The process of creating our wood walking cane begins with the selection of the choicest segments of 12 foot long raw bamboo poles. Each piece is chosen for strength and lack of blemishes. The bamboo wood cane is then processed using 20 different steps to become either a Wood Walking Cane or Walking Cane Flute. The exterior of our wood walking cane has a very unique, tortoise shell like design developed by us through years of working with bamboo wood. To protect the walking cane from the elements we first apply a sealer to the unfinished wood, then a durable water proof poly finish.

Each wood walking cane has a removable Brass Handle, Leather Hand Strap and replaceable Heavy Rubber Tip on the bottom (extra cane tips available).

WALKING CANE FLUTE

Walking Cane Flutes are exactly as described above but also have a Six Hole Transverse Flute, played sideways like a Concert Flute, built into the middle of the cane. Each Wood Walking Cane Flute is Individually Concert Tuned by us to a Major Scale (G) and play a range of up to two octaves.

Just turn the cane on it's side and start jammen! They have an wonderful tonal quality and since they are tuned you can play along with other instruments. . Children are absolutely amazed to see a walking cane that turns into a Flute. The Brass Handle is removable to lighten the cane flute for extended play.

BRASS WALKING CANE HANDLES

You may chose from four styles of Solid Brass Handles for your wood walking cane. These Brass Handles sitting atop our Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Cane makes for a very handsome and distinctive looking walking stick.

The 'Regency' handle is by far the most comfortable of the Brass Handles. It is best suited for someone who will be putting a lot of pressure on the handle to support themselves walking.

The 'Eagle' handle is the next most comfortable of the brass handles. If you are only putting a moderate amount of pressure on the cane handle for stability when walking this handle will work for you.

The 'Cobra' and 'Ball' brass handles are the least comfortable if you need the support of a cane for walking but they are very stylish looking.

The 'Ball' handle is especially interesting. It is hollow within, which makes it an ideal place to stash small valuables. You simply unscrew the top half of the brass ball to reveal the opening. You cannot tell by looking at it that the brass ball comes apart.

WOOD CANE INKED DESIGNS

Customize your Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Cane with Full Colored Engraved and Hand Inked Designs. My Wife, Linda, Engraves each design onto the wood walking cane, then Hand Inks each one using high quality, Full Color Permanent Inks. The 'Serenity' Wood Walking Cane has the Chinese characters meaning 'Serenity' or 'Peace' and a Dragon Fly (the Chinese symbol for Good Luck) Engraved and Inked in Gold into the bamboo wood. The Gold Designs against the dark bamboo wood looks very stylish and makes for a very striking wood walking cane.

For an additional cost of $2.00 per letter, we will Engrave and Hand Ink your Name or Initials in Gold onto your bamboo wood walking cane. You may also have a small Inscription engraved onto the wood walking cane for a cost of $10.00 for up to 10 words. For longer inscriptions, please call for an estimate.
