Unless otherwise requested, we ship our Dark Bamboo Walking Cane cut to 36 inch's. We will gladly cut your Bamboo Walking Cane longer or shorter for you at no extra charge. Please specify the size you require in the 'Special Requests' panel of our Secure Shopping Cart when ordering.

For those who are presently using a Cane that feels comfortable, simply measure this Cane from the top of the handle to bottom of the rubber tip to get the correct size when ordering a new Bamboo Walking Cane.

To cut your Bamboo Walking Cane to size yourself do the following:

• Remove the rubber tip from the bottom of the Bamboo Walking Cane and unscrew the Brass Handle from the top of the cane.

• Lay the end of the bamboo cane to be cut on a small block of scrap wood and make a mark where you need to cut.

• While holding the bottom of the Bamboo Cane flat against the wood block, slowly turn the Bamboo Walking Cane while using a fine toothed hacksaw blade to score a line completly around the outside of the Bamboo Walking Cane.

• Once you have scored the bamboo, cut completely through the Bamboo Walking Cane and into the scrap wood to make a clean cut and to avoid fraying the bamboo wood.

BAMBOO WALKING CANE MEASURING DIRECTIONS

• Wear the shoes usually worn when walking.

• Stand erect with your arms hanging relaxed at your side.

• Use a tape measure or yardstick to measure the distance from the floor to the first crease on the inside of your wrist, just above the palm, on the arm that will use the cane.

• This is the height you need for your new Bamboo Walking Cane.
