We hope you find the information below helpful. It is extremely important that someone who rely's on a cane for walking, get the proper size walking cane.

Unless otherwise requested, we ship our Bamboo Walking Canes cut to 36 inch's. We will gladly cut your Bamboo Walking Cane longer or shorter for you at no extra charge. Please specify the size you require in the 'Special Requests' panel of our Secure Shopping Cart when ordering.

Walking Cane Flutes, Walking Stick Flutes and Camera Monopod Hiking Sticks are some of the other Dark Bamboo Walking Sticks that are made and sold by us.

For those who are presently using a Cane that feels comfortable, simply measure this Cane from the top of the handle to bottom of the rubber tip to get the correct size when ordering a Bamboo Walking Cane.

You may also cut your Bamboo Walking Cane to size yourself by removing the rubber tip from the bottom and unscrewing the Brass Handle from the cane.

Lay the end of the cane to be cut on a small block of scrap wood. While holding the Bamboo Cane flat against the wood block, slowly turn the Bamboo Walking Cane while using a fine toothed hacksaw blade to score a line around the outside of the Bamboo Cane. Once you have scored the bamboo, cut completely through the Bamboo Walking Cane and into the scrap wood to make a clean cut and to avoid fraying the bamboo.

BAMBOO WALKING CANE MEASURING DIRECTIONS

• Wear the shoes usually worn when walking.

• Stand erect with your arms hanging relaxed at your side.

• Use a tape measure or yardstick to measure the distance from the floor to the first crease on the inside of your wrist, just above the palm, on the arm that will use the cane.

• This is the height you need for your new Bamboo Walking Cane.
