Individually Hand Crafted Dark Bamboo Monopod Walking Stick, made in the beautiful Berkshire Hills of Stockbridge Massachusetts. For over 35 years our small family business has made and sold our style of Dark Bamboo Flutes and Walking Sticks at Juried Craft Fairs and Music Festivals throughout the Northeast United States.

Our Monopod Walking Stick measures 52 Inches long. We will gladly cut the Monopod Walking Stick to any size you need at no extra charge (See Details Below).

Each Monopod Walking Stick has a Hollow Brass Ball on the top. Hidden within the brass ball is a 20mm Liquid Compass, standard Camera Mount (see photos) and also room to stash small valuables. There is a spike hidden in the bottom of the Monopod Walking Stick that can be used to take pictures of yourself using your cameras timer. The Monopod is also available as a Walking Stick Flute.

Your may also customize your Monopod Walking Stick with Etched and Hand Inked Designs, Names, Initials or a Small Inscription.

Prices include Shipping and Handling charges. The Monopod Walking Stick is shipped via USPS Priority Mail, usually arriving within 3 to 4 business days (within the continental U.S.). Shipments sent beyond the continental U.S. require extra postage. We will notify you by email, before shipping, of any extra charges. We pack our monopod walking stick in a sturdy reusable cardboard tube for shipping.

Light yet very strong, our Monopod Walking Stick has a Hollow Brass Ball on the top, Leather Hand Strap and a replaceable Heavy Rubber Tip on the bottom (extra tips available). We ship the walking monopod cut to 52 inches but we will gladly cut it to any size you wish at no extra charge. Details Below.

The Brass Ball of the monopod is hollow, and when you unscrew the top half it reveals a 20mm Liquid Compass. Unscrew the brass ball completely from the monopod walking stick and you have access to a standard camera mount to assist in taking photos. There is also ample room within the hollow brass ball to stash small valuables. You can not tell by looking at the brass ball that it comes apart. See photo's above.

There is also a metal spike hidden in the bottom of the Monopod Walking Stick that can be used with your camera timer to take photos. Simply remove the rubber tip from the bottom of the monopod and pull out the threaded metal spike. Thread the spike back into the bottom of the Monopod Walking Stick and stick the monopod, with camera attached, into the ground. Set the timer and take photos of you and your friends together. When finished, reinsert the spike into the Monopod Walking Stick and replace the rubber tip. Its that simple.

The outside design of the Monopod Walking Stick is very unique. It has a 'Tortoise Shell' like patina developed by us through our many years of working with bamboo wood. No two are alike! We protect the exterior of the Monopod Walking Stick with a durable water proof Poly Finish.

I love to hike, especially off trail, and have used my walking stick for many years. It's a great aid when going up or down really steep terrain and I also use it a lot for poking around in the underbrush.

MONOPOD WALKING STICK FLUTE

The Monopod Walking Stick Flute is exactly as described above but also includes a Six Hole Transverse Flute (side blown like a Concert Flute) located in the middle of the monopod walking stick for balance. We Individually Concert Tune each Monopod Walking Stick Flute to a Major Scale (G) and they play a range of up to two octaves. This is a well tuned Flute that is great for playing along with other instruments or just sitting in a meadow and singing with the birds. Just turn the monopod on its side and play for your hearts content. Kids are amazed when they see a Walking Stick turn into a Flute.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR MONOPOD WALKING STICK

HAND INKED DESIGNS:

Monopod Walking Sticks can be Etched and Hand Inked with your choice of Full Colored Inked Design. My wife, Linda, Etches each design onto the monopod, then Hand Inks each design in Full Color using high quality permanent inks. Austrian Crystals are then inlayed into the design to give the monopod walking stick a bit of sparkle.

If you have a Personnel Design or Sketch that you would like etched and inked onto your monopod walking stick, please send us a sketch or photo and we will try to accommodate. Extra charges may apply.

NAMES-INITIALS-INSCRIPTION:

Name or Initials can be Etched onto the monopod walking stick for a cost of $2.00 per letter. The letters are Etched and Hand Inked in Gold. The gold lettering against the dark bamboo patina makes for a beautiful hiking stick.

A small Inscription may also be Etched onto your monopod walking stick for a cost of $10.00 for up to 10 words.

We ship our Monopod Walking Stick cut to approximately 52 inches unless directed otherwise. You may have your monopod cut to any size, longer or shorter, at no extra charge. There may be extra postage required for a very long monopod walking stick. If extra postage is needed we will notify you by email, before shipping, of any extra charges due.
