For over 35 years 'Serenity Bamboo', our small family business, has made its way making and selling our distinctive style of Handcrafted Dark Bamboo Flutes, Walking Sticks and Walking Stick Flutes at Juried Craft Fairs and Music Festivals throughout the Northeastern United States. Our schedule still includes doing over 80 days of Craft Fairs a year. Our bamboo flute shop is in the basement of our home, located in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of Stockbridge, Massachusetts. We were the first to develop and sell our Amazing Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Stick Flute which has been featured in publications such as Signals Catalog, Real Goods and Backpackers Magazine. Having tried them in the past we felt that, other than being in the same room, playing the bamboo flute over the phone gave the truest sound, without embellishments, of what our flutes sound like. BAMBOO FLUTE DESCRIPTONThe type of Bamboo Flute we make is called a Transverse Flute, which simply means that the bamboo flute is played sideways like a concert flute. For a quick lesson on the technique used in getting a strong clear tone on a side blown bamboo flute, please go to our Bamboo Flute Lesson page. Each bamboo flute is Individually Concert Tune to a Major Scale. They have a rich and mellow tone and are great fun when playing along with other instruments. BAMBOO WOOD WALKING STICK48 Inch Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Stick is available as a Walking Stick or Walking Stick Flute. Beautifully made with an Inlaid Liquid Compass in the top, Leather Hand Strap and Heavy Rubber Tip on the bottom. We will gladly cut our Bamboo Wood Walking Stick to any size you request at no extra charge. Walking Stick Flutes are the same as above but also have a Concert Tuned Bamboo Flute in the middle of the Walking Stick. Just turn the walking stick on its side and sing with the birds. Free Playing Instructions. Personalize your Bamboo Wood Walking Stick with a Name, Initials or Inscription Etched and Inked onto the Walking Stick. BAMBOO WOOD WALKING CANE36 Inch long Dark Bamboo Wood Walking Cane is light yet strong and designed to be used by those in need of a cane for walking. You have a choice of four Brass Handles. There is also a Leather Strap and Heavy Rubber tip on the bottom. is available as a Walking Cane or Walking Cane Flute. We will cut our Bamboo Wood Walking Cane to any size you need, larger or smaller, at no extra charge. Bamboo Wood Waking Cane Flute is the same as described above but also has a Concert Tuned Bamboo Flute in the center of the Walking Cane. Free Playing Instructions are included with the purchase of a Bamboo Wood Walking Cane Flute. Customize your Wood Walking Cane with a Name, Initials or small Inscription Etched and Inked onto the Walking Cane. MONOPOD WALKING STICKOur Monopod Walking Stick is 52 Inches tall and has a removable Hollow Brass Ball on the top, Leather Strap and Heavy Rubber Tip on the bottom. The Hollow Brass Ball of the Monopod Walking Stick contains a Liquid Compass and standard Camera Mount. There is also ample room within the hollow Brass Ball to hide a small amount of valuables. Monopod Walking Sticks can be cut to any size, longer or shorter, at no extra charge. We also offer our Monopod Walking Stick as a Walking Stick Flute. |
