DESCRIPTION

Our 'Serenity' Bamboo Chinese Flute' is a Transverse Flute, which means that it is a side blown flute, played like a classical metal flute. We Individually Concert Tune each Bamboo Chinese Flute to a Major Scale and they play a range of up to two octaves. Serious flute players as well as beginners will appreciate the very mellow, meditative tone of our bamboo Chinese Flutes. This is the perfect instrument to take along with you on your travels and also a great flute for jamming along with other instruments.

'Serenity' Bamboo Chinese Flutes have a Dragon Fly (Chinese symbol for good luck) and the Chinese Characters meaning 'Serenity/Peace' engraved and Hand Inked in Gold by my wife Linda. The Gold Etchings against the dark bamboo background is very striking.

The exterior of our bamboo Chinese flute is unique in its exterior design and is protected by a durable water proof finish. Each 'Serenity' Bamboo Chinese Flute comes with Free Playing Instructions.

We suggest that beginners start with a Bamboo Chinese Flute in either the key of 'A' or 'G'. The key of 'G' is a little deeper in tone than the 'A' and is a good key for playing along with other instruments. Remember, the longer the Bamboo Chinese Flute the deeper the tone but the more difficult the finger stretch. Start with a smaller flute and once you feel comfortable playing it then move on to a larger and deeper toned bamboo Chinese flute.

If you would like to customize your 'Serenity' Bamboo Chinese Flute with other lettering or a design of your own, please send us a photo/sketch of the lettering or design you wish engraved and inked on your flute and we will try to accommodate. Extra charges may apply.
